Tuesday 19th February

It’s my usual Sunday afternoon walk, a song kicks in as I listen to my play-list and my feelings instantly turn inwards, as I reflect upon the intense themes that have been playing out amongst the collective these past weeks.
On some level, we will all be feeling more sentimental than usual, especially when it comes to our feelings around how we deal with our emotions that we keep locked deep inside us.
Our minds may seem on overdrive analysing and dissecting every action we’ve been showing to the outside world, even the ones from years ago. For they are the memories that impact us the most. Because, it’s in our actions and the choices that we make that ultimately lead us on our destined path. Or, maybe sending us off-course to only rediscover that years later, it was in fact the only thing that made perfect sense.
Love plays a pivotal part in this story. Whether it’s universal love, or a divine connection. This one is heart-warming, and it’s my adaptation of a modern Cupid story.
“The years had been good to him. He lived the high life with a successful career that he could be proud of. He shared laughter and enjoyed great times with those he called his close friends and was never short of female attention. For it was in those times of loneliness, that they had given him comfort and the distraction that he needed to keep him from the intense emotions that bubbled beneath the surface of his psyche, that he very rarely showed to himself, let alone the outside world – until one fateful night, a very long time ago.
"Years had gone by and while Cupid was very much living in the future, there was no mistaking when he felt her presence. For her energy would engulf his aura, like the beaming sun that kissed the flowers alive, on a warm summers day.
Then, with the softest of tones. She spoke the three words that brought him to his knees, every time. “I love you!”
In that moment, a sudden rush of intense feelings that he had kept suppressed, swept through every cell of his body. Like a river bursting its banks, wave after wave of what felt like lifetimes of pain. He had always thought that she was the cause of that pain, but he had finally come to realise, after all this time, he had really been running from himself.
He felt he had mastered the art. By pushing away the one thing that he loved with all his being, and giving into that kind of love, knowing it could crush him with one blow. He would rather run than to face losing himself in the flames of her eternal love, by keeping his heart closed off and protected.
As he slumped on his bed he knew he had to surrender, or it would continue to haunt him forever. And as he did, his blue eyes that were tinged with sadness began to well up. He could not stop the tears, as they rolled down his cheeks. Looking up at the ceiling barely in control of his own voice - he spoke aloud.
"I love you” he said, softly. I loved you from the very first moment that my soul entwined with yours. I just didn’t feel I deserved that kind of love, because if I’m honest, I didn’t know how to even love myself. But because of you, darling. You showed me that there is a soul deep love, and that I deserve to bask in that love every day, with you - Thank you, for everything that you are."
He was ready. Ready to heal. And ready to live the life he had denied for so long.”
As a collective we have gone through major life changes in January that has felt like we’ve been put through the mincer. And had, what feels like ‘years’ worth of gunk that had been brought to the surface in just one month. It will feel as though we’ve all been cleansed to some degree as it washed away the debris from our lives.
A good storm is needed sometimes, as it clears the air and makes us see things that were hazy before. As the fog lifts, we see beyond the veil of fantasy, illusion, and deception in some cases.
The full moon in Virgo will be highlighting our self-mastery in how we deal with the lessons that help us to ascend. Sometimes, we can fall into ‘victim mentality’ when we feel that circumstances are not going in our favour. When really, it’s the universe’s way of gently nudging us to look inwards.
When we sit with ourselves and observe how our situations play out from a detached point of view, we can gain a clearer perspective and see where our unhealthy patterns that we continue to repeat and stop us from moving forward. As we drop what’s no longer serving us, we release that need to be a victim of our circumstances and take back control.
This will also be a great time for letting go of any habits and addictions that are no longer in alignment with our journey’s. As we focus on coming into balance with our own lifestyle choices, we can be wanting to cut out our vices that have been holding us back from living our best life. Giving us an opportunity to clean-up our diet, drinking less alcohol or throwing away that cigarette pack and opting for a healthier regime as we detox our bodies of any toxins we’ve been indulging in lately.
When it comes to our hearts, our feelings will surely be heightened as we move through this transit. As it brings up any unresolved emotions that we keep private within our own thoughts. As we yearn for a deeper connection with those who understand us on a soul level. As we fondly remember the deepest bonds that shook our souls to the core and made a profound impact on our lives, and ultimately re-directed our journey.
Give thanks for those connections, for they have walked through many lifetimes with us...
If we are to birth the new, our outdated identities need to fall away. And the full moon will be calling us to surrender to the divine, by trusting our feelings and working towards that powerful future that awaits us.
Make life fun for you. The universe is waiting in anticipation to see what your next bold moves will be. Go for dreams… what have you got to lose!
Have a blessed one guys!
Until next time…
Much Love
Cary-Ann
