“If you build it, your dreams will come.”
I changed the words slightly, but the movie in which I took these poignant words from has an uncanny resemblance to how I feel the energies are showing up for us during this phase, of slow but steady growth. As we watch the buds sprout from the seeds we planted back at the last new moon, in Aries.
The film is called “Field of Dreams”, and it tells the story of a farmer who feels the need to act, when he hears a voice as he walks helplessly through his land of never-ending cornfields, as he contemplates his future - “If you build it, he will come.”
There’s an epic moment in the movie when Ray is willing to risk at all. His home, the family land that he worked so hard for, and the lunacy of what the naysayers portray him out to be. In following his heart and intuition, he builds a baseball pitch for the deceased legends to come and play on. And is humbled to see people come from all over to watch the greatest players of their time, which ultimately saves his family home from financial ruin. And during a heartfelt scene when Ray shares a special moment with his late father, as they play catch once again. In the Field of Dreams!
“Sometimes, when you believe in the impossible… the incredible comes true.”
My most favourite time of day for me. Is the ability to sit in satisfaction as I sip on my morning coffee whilst embracing the sun, as her radiance beams down on me sharing her light as it re-charges my energy and kicks-starts a day filled with love and gratitude. Those are the moments that I’m thankful for. For they show me that there’s so much beauty in world. If we just still ourselves from our busy minds for a moment, and the fast-paced world that we have come to know and bask in the appreciation of what this wonderful planet, so freely gives us.
This Taurus new moon is the epitome of what we are willing to work towards in achieving our dreams. If we take our time in nurturing our passions and give up the resistance, we naturally flow to the people and places that feed our soul.
Some would describe our lovable Bull to be inclined to enjoy way too many lazy days. As they take their “good old” time, grazing upon the goodness that “Mother Gaia” provides for them. With all the nutrients of fresh grains and grass that brings delight to their bottomless belly’s, on warm summers day.
But I don’t think we should underestimate, the strong-willed strength of this magnificent creature. Like many Taurus’, although they show a slow pace attitude underneath that chilled exterior, that they portray so strongly. There’s a steadfast and dependable beast that wants nothing but the best. A lavish life that brings structure and comfort. One that is a slow burner but full of pleasure and beauty along the way.
The Bull has one approach in life when it comes to taking action on their wants and needs, and that’s confidence in carrying out their convictions to the end, with sureness of the direction that they travel in. And facing any roadblocks and detours as a check-in point, as they use their wisdom and feel with their senses. Their realistic approach to enjoying a fulfilled and meaningful journey, comes with the ability to be able to see a vison, that sometimes only they can see.
This transit will be challenging us to show up and take practical action while looking at a long-term plan. Like a seed pushing through the soil as it awakes from its slumber, feeling the freshness of freedom. Observing their surroundings for the very first time. Knowing that growth will come with both the sun and rain for encouragement, as it thrives and reaches for the top.
It's a time where we can take a breather as we finally see how events have unravelled these past 6 months, it’s been gnarly ride so give yourselves a well-earned pat on the back.
There’s no doubting that relationships have been at the forefront of the intensity, highlighting our values around those that test our boundaries and help our expansion, through confronting situations with the courage to express our own internal feelings. Whether it’s a positive or negative experience, every interaction has shown just how far we have come in our own healing journey. It can feel like we are being punished when we are faced with uncomfortable truths as our wounds get triggered. But if we acknowledge them instead of placing blame or judgement on another, we can go through the purging process and let go of old emotional traumas that have been hidden dormant for so long.
Organising our finances and focusing on what’s most important as we plan for a future we can be proud of. The universe has a magical way of blessing us with what we have worked so hard for. This really is a time to reap what you have sown, so expect to receive your karma in abundance. And know that you deserve everything that your heart desires.
Enjoy this time of expansion while you eat nourishing foods that look after and strengthen your body, as you continue to grow and come into your own magnificent light.
Shine bright, loves!
Until next time….
Much love
Cary-Ann
