Wednesday 6th March

A stranger siting at the bus stop smiled and waved so caringly at me from the across the road, while on my morning run today. And for a split second, my heart felt this immense love as I excitedly waved back. It was like our souls took over to acknowledge the divine beauty we both saw in one another. Not that I wasn’t in my usual happy place already, but my inner-child relished in the warmth of the moment, and I was left buzzing all day.
“It’s in those brief encounters that I’m reminded that we are all infinite beings of love and light, and that there is “magic” in our divinely timed meetings of fate.”
And I couldn’t think of a more fitting film, than the one I’m about to share with you, that will hopefully explain the intensity of the themes playing out around us right now. It certainly helped me understand my spiritual journey and quest for my own evolutionary truth, of why I chose to come here.
The film is called Avatar, and it tells the story of a paraplegic Marine “Jake Sully” who decides to take his place in a mission on a far distant planet of Pandora. There he learns of greedy corporate figurehead Parker Selfridge's intentions of driving off the native humanoid "Na'vi" to enforce destruction for the precious material scattered throughout their rich woodland.
In exchange for the spinal surgery that will fix his legs, Jake gathers intel for the cooperating military unit spearheaded by gung-ho Colonel Quartic, while simultaneously attempting to infiltrate the Na'vi people with the use of an "avatar" identity. While Jake begins to bond with the native tribe, he quickly falls in love with the beautiful alien Neytiri.
The frustrated Colonel moves forward with his ruthless extermination tactics, forcing the soldier to take a stand - and fight back in an epic battle for the fate of Pandora’s first look at his own avatar.
Humans are unable to breathe Pandora's air, but the Avatar Program enables a human to link with their own avatar, a genetically-bred human-Naqvi hybrid, and function as if they were a Na'vi native. In his avatar body, Jake will be able to walk again and breathe the atmosphere. But as Jake comes to realise the truth about planet earth and the war it continues to fight for greed and power. We come to the last moments of an epic movie and a heartfelt scene where Jake finds himself fighting for his own life, due to his Avatar pod being destroyed in the battle.
“Jake pushes the lid of the pod open, struggling for breath as he reaches for his oxygen mask. In a sudden panic, he slips and the weight of his body tumbles to the ground. As he lays helplessly, he visions Neytiri kneeling over him. Calmness takes over his dying body as he closes his eyes and takes his final breath.
Neytiri fights off the colonel in a dramatic final battle. She senses Jake is in danger as she runs towards his pod. Fear fills her Avatar body as she spots him through the window, for losing him now would destroy her world. The strength and desire to bring him back to her, as she rushes to his side and attaches the mask to his face. Her body trembling as she cradles him in her arms. Weeping, as she cries out “My Jake.” Suddenly, Jake’s chest slowly rises and falls as the oxygen starts to fill his lungs, bringing him back to life. With tears of emotion filling his eyes, as he regains his breath, truly seeing her for the very first time as he whispers, “I see you!”
That moment, she understood that his soul and hers were forever bonded as she softly replied, “I see you!”
Jake realised that he belonged with Neytiri and that it was time to surrender and let go of his old life, so that he could embody the soul he was destined to be and to live amongst the Na’vi people, where only freedom and love resided.”
What an incredible time we are going through right now on the planet. For me personally, I have been undergoing my own transformation and discovering deep layers that have been buried for so many years. Just when I think I’ve healed, another trauma comes up to be seen that had been locked away. Even though it can be uncomfortable at the time, I know it comes to the surface for me to acknowledge, transmute and finally release that part that’s holding me back from moving forward and evolving. Soul-work isn’t pretty, but we can gain so much growth through shedding what no longer resonates as we ascend.
It’s been an empowering time for humanity and while I relish in my own unfolding journey, of who I am becoming. I’m also a little apprehensive for the person I’m having to say goodbye too. Not because she wasn’t important, she played a vital part in my life and was necessary for my evolution and expansion.
But if we are to ascend, we need to sacrifice our old outdated versions of ourselves so that we can explode into our new identities, which is required for the road in which we’re heading in - and that scares the bejesus out of me. Not because I’m fearful for the future, far from it. It’s what I’ve been working on for the last 8 years, and I’m so overwhelmed at the rate of my own growth, sometimes I can’t quite believe the woman who looks back at me in the mirror every morning.
I don’t mean that in an egotistical way. in fact, quite the opposite. I feel so humbled and at the same time, so proud of everything that has helped me heal, as I surrender to the divine unfolding of what this beautiful life has to offer. It may feel sometimes as though our old life is turmoil and all we can do is stand there and watch as it falls apart. And in some ways, it must. For us to build a new-world, we must watch the old-world crumble.
This is what the new moon in Pisces is teaching us now. To have trust and faith in what we cannot see yet. It truly is a huge surrender as you let the universe do its magic.
Our imaginations will be spiritually amped up right now, within our waking life and our dream-state. We can be experiencing intense and vivid dreams as we swim through the deep watery sign of Pisces. So be sure to keep a journal and take notes of what comes up for you during sleep time, for they give us valuable insight to what our subconscious mind is trying show us.
We can be far more intuitive during this transit as we become acutely aware of others and their own hidden agendas, as we seek resolution for those who hide behind their own lies for fear of the truth being exposed.
If you are finding that you are on the receiving end of someone taking their anger out on you by lashing out. Take a moment to reflect before responding and remember to look for the solution instead of feeding into the problem.
We also have Mercury going retrograde today, so it’s like a double dose of “hide under the duvet.” But we can’t stop our lives just because we have our friend going backwards… well, not literally! This will be a great time to go over old ground as we clean-up the mess that may have been caused from the past, so that we can get back on track once Mercury moves forward again at the end of the month.
Yes, March is going to be a gnarly month, but sometimes it’s needed to bring everything up that’s been bubbling under the surface. Like a volcano erupting, the lava will burn away everything so that new growth can take place.
Channel this time on your hobbies. Whether it’s focusing on a piece of music, creatively writing your next blog/book, putting your energy into that exercise regime that enlivens you. Or, just relaxing into cooking up a favourite meal.
And remember, it’s a new moon so surrender to what’s being birthed too.
Surrender to the Love and Life Force you came here to be…
Have a blessed new moon, guys!
Much love
Cary-Ann
