AQUARIUS NEW MOON

Monday 4th February

I watched one of my favourite movies of all time this weekend which I’ve seen about a dozen times, but it never gets boring. The movie was Gladiator and although it portrays death, deceit, warriors and evil villains. It tells the story of a once-powerful general ‘Maximus’ forced to become a common gladiator. The emperor's son ‘Commodus’ who is enraged when he is passed over as heir in favour of his father's favourite general. He seeks revenge, kills his father then arranges the murder of the general's family, and the general is sold into slavery to be trained as a gladiator - but his popularity in the arena threatens the throne.

There were some epic moments in the film but one scene that stands out for me was when the general won the Barbarian battle. After convincing the other prison inmates to fight alongside him, so that they could stand together and face the savage monsters that were released from their cages, to brutally end their life.

“As the tension built with excitement from the loud cheers of the crowd as their voices echoed around the packed-out arena. Maximus’ thoughts turned inwards, to a vision of his beloved wife and son. As he pictured the beauty of her face and the way her eyes smiled as she gazed lovingly at their affectionate son, as they playfully ran through the cornfields while their wild horses roamed freely beside them.

The deafening noise coming from the spectators had brought his awareness back to the present moment. As he lifted his head up to the skies, as if he was speaking with the gods themselves. Semi-whispering in a strong yet husky tone - he declared… ‘I will be with them soon, I am certain of that. But I have to fulfil my purpose here first’.

The general then turned to his fellow inmates and spoke aloud. Anyone been in the army? To which the men answered ‘Yes!' Then you can help me. ‘Whatever comes out of these gates, we’ve got a better chance of survival if we work together. Do you understand? If we stay together, we survive.’ To the general’s surprise, they raised their weapons in honour of his command.

He realised in the darkest hour that he wasn't alone. He was surrounded by an army of soldiers that were on his side, who were ready to fight for their honour, for their freedom. And most importantly, the freedom of the people and the future of Rome.”

After experiencing the epic full moon in Leo which shone a light on our gifts and talents. We step into new moon in Aquarius wanting to implement them and re-structure our life to ensure we are boldly moving forward and utilising the tools that has come to light in the past month. We will now be willing to share our ideas and content with a loving heart.

When you work towards something greater than yourself, you find meaning and purpose. When you keep people at the centre of what you do it can have an enormous impact. Knowing as you do this and by sharing your message, you contribute in making the world a better and brighter place, for all to embrace with an open heart so that we can coexist together.

For me personally, I'm at my happiest when I'm sharing my love for writing. I enjoy feeling into the energies of what the collective are experiencing during the moon phases, and revel in story-telling. So, I came up with the idea that when writing the energy updates, I would combine them both together. This way I get to express myself freely, on all levels. And with a hope that by sharing my passion, it will reach like-minded souls who resonate with what I put out into the cosmos, and somehow be of service to them.

When you love what you do it feels you up because you have found your passion. And in turn, you offer your gifts freely, with only the expectation of making a difference to the world around you - that's abundance to me.

This new moon will certainly have us wanting to collaborate with those who are also on the same mission as us. There won’t be any doubt that those who are no longer in alignment with our path will slowly fall by the way-side. We should not resist our ascension to level up into a new paradigm, it’s essential for our growth and development.

This can also be a time for power struggles, especially among those that who are not willing to see their own unhealed wounds. This can be playing out in our field of work, and home life to.

When you’re having an experience that you don’t want to be in. Where you find yourself in a place or environment that is no longer benefiting your journey, but find yourself not wanting to act so you can move on to what your soul is asking of you. Instead, you find yourself looking for a scapegoat to blame for your own frustrations and idleness to deal with a situation you have become so entrenched in. By being honest with yourself and taking the necessary steps to resolve and heal what has been deeply hidden beneath the surface will help you see the way more clearly.

If you find yourself on the receiving end of another’s unconscious negative behaviour. Know that anything that happens to you is a gift for your own evolution. And even if you are experiencing characters turning on you, betraying you, hurting and damaging you. It’s only teaching you to become stronger and inviting you to make the next bold decisions in your life and set the necessary boundaries for everyone’s benefit.

This period is all about our own personal power and how we integrate that out within our surroundings and with the people we spend most of our time with. It’s about deciphering who is worthy of our precious energy - you, and how you feel is all that matters. So spending time with those who value your uniqueness and support you in your growth will be highlighted heavily during this this transit.

The leaders of this world really do start with you. If we are to build new structures, we must tear down the old, and that includes our old ways of thinking and behaving.

We have entered into the new age of Aquarius, where we break free of centuries of false doctrines. If we are to create a new world, we need to come into union, with all that is. Each individual bringing their own master peace to the table.

It’s time to gather the troops and build a new army. An army of soldiers who are fighting for the same cause. It’s definitely exciting times we are living in, and it can be a prosperous one for us to.

Be the example you expect to see in others and I assure you, the world you are carving out... will be a magical one.

Surrender to the divine unfolding and watch how your life comes alive.
